Lefty's Cooking Tips
Serve with steamed broccoli or green beans for a complete dinner.
Bone-in pork chops can be used in place of boneless pork chops. Allow a few minutes of extra cooking time for bone-in chops.
Instructions
Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add pork chops; cook about 2 minutes on each side or until slightly browned. Remove pork chops from skillet; set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. In same skillet, heat oil until hot. Add onion and mushrooms; cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in milk and seasoning mix (from Hamburger Helper box). Heat to boiling. Return pork chops to skillet; spoon some of the sauce over pork. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 9 to 11 minutes, stirring and turning pork chops occasionally, until pork is no longer pink in center.
Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan bring water to a boil; add uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper box). Return to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Drain; cover to keep warm.
Stir sour cream into mixture in skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, just until hot. Serve pork chops and sauce mixture over pasta. Garnish with parsley.
