Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup milk
1 can (14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes, drained
1 box Hamburger Helper™ Beef Pasta
32 frozen cooked Italian-style meatballs (1/2 oz each)
1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend (4 oz)
Chopped fresh parsley leaved, if desired

Lefty's Cooking Tips

For best results with this Italian Meatball Pasta recipe, be sure to use 1/2 oz-size frozen cooked meatballs. Larger frozen meatballs take longer to cook. Try topping this dish with shredded mozzarella cheese instead of the Italian cheese blend. Italian-style meatballs can be made with beef, pork, chicken or a blend of all three. Use your favorite 1/2 oz-size frozen cooked meatballs in this meatball and pasta recipe!

Instructions

In 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened.
Add hot water, milk, tomatoes, and sauce mix (from box); stir to combine. Stir in uncooked pasta (from box) and frozen meatballs. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 9 to 11 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat.
Top with cheese; cover and let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley.
