Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef (at least 80% lean)
2 cups hot water
1/2 cup milk
1 box Hamburger Helper™ Sweet BBQ
1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/2 cup sliced green onions

Serve your BBQ beef pasta dinner with coleslaw and cornbread muffins or rolls to round out the meal.

Like a little heat? Use shredded pepper Jack cheese instead of the cheddar.

We tested this Cheesy Barbecue Beef Pasta Skillet recipe with canned corn, but feel free to use cooked frozen or fresh corn instead. You will need about 1 3/4 cups corn.

Instructions

In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
Stir in water, milk, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from box) and corn. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup of the cheese.
Top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese; cover and let stand 3 minutes. Top with green onions.
