Lefty's Cooking Tips
Want to save time? Brown and freeze lean ground beef in 1-pound portions.
Serve this main dish with dinner rolls and an easy-to-make coleslaw. Purchase bagged coleslaw mix found in the produce section of your grocery store. Top each serving with a generous dollop of Yoplait® Original lemon burst yogurt. For dessert, make a pouch of Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix! With ingredients you probably have on hand, this entire meal is estimated to cost less than $10.
Instructions
Brown beef in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; drain.
Stir in uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, hot water and beans. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender.
Remove from heat; uncover and let stand about 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you’d like (sauce will thicken as it stands). Sprinkle with cheese.
